Despite the mid-Atlantic being hit by blizzard after blizzard, it's remained relatively snow-free up here (and in Vancouver, it seems). In fact, there have been seemingly more surfable days than ski-able days. New Hampshire Public Radio had a nice segment on this morning about the ideal winter surfing condition at Jenness, our local break.
Locals aren't the only ones going in the water. Word is that Tahitian surfing legend Raimana Van Bastolaer hit up Hampton last Friday with our buddy Ross from Cinnamon Rainbows. He was in town to promote the opening of Ultimate Wave Tahiti 3D (featuring Kelly Slater) at the New England Aquarium in Boston. Photos below from Rich Beauchesne at seacoastonline.com.

Tahiti is a great surfing destination.
Didn't they have some kind of minor earthquake recently ?
