NEMO friend and photographer Jed Conklin, is a man of many talents: he is a true outdoorsman in every sense with an unbelievable eye for visual storytelling.
Every time we link up with Jed, he's deeper and deeper into Ironman training/racing. He's also a sponsored athlete for Combat Flipflops, a company making custom flip flops that are being produced out of a factory in Afghanistan. The goal is to keep sustaining the local economy after U.S. troops pull out in 2014. Check out some of the really funky designs and totally unique manufacturing concept.
