21 Years on the Appalachian Trail

It's important to note that it wasn't 21 continuous years on the trail.

The Boston Globe reports that Jim Haskell of Ipswich, MA finished the AT this past Sunday after section hiking 100 mile chunks each year since 1990. Cheers to achieving life goals.

In related news, ramen noodles have been found to lead to chronic illness...

That study is bogus...it has nothing to do with ramen noodles specifically being unhealthy (which they are...but also delicious). It's only saying people who eat ramen tend not to eat a balanced healthy diet. As a ramen lover who is also a bit of a foodie and health conscious, I think we (NEMO) shouldn't spread such lies. Mmmm...ramen.

By the way, congratulations Jim!

Hi,

I have a question for the webmaster/admin here at nemoadventureanywhere.blogspot.com.

Can I use part of the information from your blog post above if I provide a link back to this site?

Thanks,
Alex
