Lotus Flower Tower, Cirque of the Unclimbables

In the last month we have been doing more driving then climbing, but that's the necessary evil of a road trip. Our 40-day "Tour de Canada" took us from Vancouver, BC up to Skagway, Alaska, over to the NW Territories, and down through Alberta. I think we spent a lot in gas, but it's all in liters and Canadian $'s up there, so who knows?!

Since the last update, we have completed three more big climbs. The Lotus Flower Tower in NW Territories Canada, Bugaboo Spire in Alberta, and the North Ridge on the Grand Teton in Wyoming. We were going to climb three more classics in the Banff Alberta area, but they were out of condition (too much snow), so we passed right on by. Now its on to the D1 on Longs Peak in Rocky Mt NP.

Here's a video of the most recent classic climb, the SW Face of the Lotus Flower Tower in the Cirque of the Unclimbables.
