Photo courtesy Deb Cram, dcram@seacoastonline.com.Jenness Beach in Rye, NH, a favorite surf spot and beach adopted by NEMO for monthly clean ups, has seen a revival. Petrified tree stumps that have been covered for more than three decades, were recently uncovered by the destructive storm that hit New England in early March. The sunken forest, as it is referred to, is believed to date back to the Ice Age. If you're in the area, stop by. The stumps are not expected to be visible for long.
